Job Overview – Director of Investor Relations:
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for digital assets and investor relations? We are seeking an exceptional Director of Investor Relations to join our New York City team. In this pivotal role, you will drive business development efforts, raise capital for digital assets, and build strong relationships with family office investors.

Location: New York, NY 
Compensation: $150,000 – $250,000/year + bonus
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities of the Director of Investor Relations:

  • Business Development: Lead business development efforts to raise funds through initial fund vehicles, targeting $100 million+ total raised with future raises planned.
  • Investor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with investors, particularly large family offices, to secure investments in digital assets funds.
  • Capital Raising: Raise capital for seed, Series B, and C fundraising, focusing on decentralized fintech investment companies and real-world asset tokenization.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Founder and the team to strategize and execute fundraising initiatives.
  • Market Outreach: Utilize a deep rolodex of family offices and other capital allocators to secure investments ranging from $1 million to $20 million.
  • Ownership and Carry: Earn carry points in the VC fund and liquid business contingent on fundraising success.

Qualifications for the Director of Investor Relations:

  • Experience: 8-10 years of business development experience with exposure to digital and cryptocurrencies. Experience in raising capital for close-ended funds and family office investors is essential.
  • Industry Knowledge: Blend of traditional Wall Street capital allocators and knowledge of blockchain-based digital assets.
  • Skills: Exceptional skills in investor relations and business development, with a proven track record of raising capital for digital assets funds.
  • Networking: Strong network of large family offices and other capital allocators.
  • Location Flexibility: Preferably based in NYC full-time, but remote candidates who can visit NYC will be considered.
