Job Overview – Director of Investment Accounting:
Join our client as the Director of Investment Accounting. In this role, you will work directly with a third-party client, handling investment roll forwards and pricing applications.
Compensation: $140,000.00 – $170,000.00 + bonus
Location: Boston, Massachusetts – Remote
Responsibilities of the Director of Investment Accounting include:
- Reviewing and analyzing consolidated schedules of investments for multi-jurisdictional private credit funds
- Maintaining a companywide Price Matrix for investments
- Calculating cost and fair market value, with expertise in accretion and amortization
- Handling complex Excel formulas
- Understanding various credit instruments, such as Term Loans and Revolving Lines of Credit
- Managing and training teams, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders
- Performing ad-hoc analytical projects
Qualifications of the Director of Investment Accounting include:
- At least 8 years of progressive financial services experience, with a focus on the private sector
- Prior managerial experience
- Strong knowledge of Credit Fund accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Self-management and teamwork skills
- Strong critical thinking and organizational abilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset is a plus
