Job Overview – Director of FP&A (Hybrid):
Join our client as the Director of FP&A in a hybrid role where you will be instrumental in driving business intelligence and performance. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analyses, while developing and maintaining financial models to report on key financial and operational metrics.
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000/year
Responsibilities as the Director of FP&A:
- Data Analysis: Lead data mining efforts, managing and visualizing large data sets using multiple platforms.
- Financial Modeling: Design and implement standardized reporting structures, financial models, and dashboards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with leadership to analyze financial forecasts and communicate business insights.
- Reporting: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for private equity firms.
- Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process and support financial performance assumptions for portfolio companies.
Qualifications for the Director of FP&A:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA is a plus).
- Experience: 7+ years in FP&A with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data visualization.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and experience with C-Suite presentations.
- Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage complex data sets.
