Location: Boston, MA
Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000/year + bonus
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Director of FP&A:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Lead efforts to identify and implement innovative solutions to enable growth, enhance decision-making, and drive efficiency.
  • Financial Leadership: Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making, investment evaluation, and resource allocation.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Lead production and delivery of recurring financial reporting and analysis for the CFO and executive team.
  • Comprehensive Financial Analysis: Lead the team in providing variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve financial planning processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Financial Modeling: Create complex financial models to support strategic project work and provide challenge and support to business sponsors of projects.
  • Business Partnership: Build strong business partnerships across the organization, ensuring strategic business decisions are supported by strong analytics.

Qualifications for the Director of FP&A:

  • Experience: 10+ years in relevant financial leadership roles, with a proven record of driving financial strategy, innovation, and disciplined execution; experience in professional services preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Skills: Strong financial principles, accounting standards, and modeling expertise with exceptional problem-solving, communication, talent management, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
