Job Overview – Development Manager, Non-Profit (Bilingual Spanish):
Step into a pivotal role with our client as a Development Manager in Norristown, PA. This senior leadership position, requiring fluency in Spanish and English, is vital to advancing the mission of providing values-based educational opportunities for PreK-12 students. Reporting to the CEO, you will spearhead strategic growth, cultivate lasting donor relationships, and oversee multi-channel fundraising initiatives to drive organizational success.

Compensation: $140,000 – $160,000/year
Location: Norristown, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities as the Development Manager, Non-Profit:

  • Strategic Fundraising: Develop and execute fundraising strategies, leveraging tax credit programs, major gifts, grants, corporate sponsorships, and planned giving.
  • Donor Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, corporate partners, and foundations to drive long-term engagement.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead the development team, fostering collaboration and a results-oriented culture.
  • Campaign Oversight: Plan and implement impactful fundraising events, campaigns, and outreach programs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to align efforts with organizational goals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze fundraising metrics, ensuring effectiveness and ROI of initiatives.

Qualifications for the Development Manager, Non-Profit:

  • Language Requirement: Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, or communications (advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience: 8+ years in nonprofit development with proven success in achieving fundraising goals.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional team management abilities and a track record of leading successful fundraising strategies.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with donor management software (Salesforce preferred) and fundraising analytics.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills in donor engagement and grant writing, with strategic thinking and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
