Job Overview – Development Coordinator, Non-Profit (Bilingual Spanish):
Join our client as a Development Coordinator in Montgomery County, PA, and play a vital role in supporting fundraising initiatives that advance educational opportunities for PreK-12 students. This position, requiring fluency in Spanish and English, reports to the Development Manager and assists in donor engagement, campaign execution, and outreach efforts, contributing to the financial sustainability and growth of the organization.
Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000/year
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Development Coordinator, Non-Profit:
- Fundraising Campaigns: Support the planning and execution of events, campaigns, and appeals to drive donor contributions.
- Donor Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with donors, corporate partners, and foundations to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Grant Writing: Collaborate on identifying funding opportunities and developing compelling grant proposals.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate donor records, generate reports, and analyze trends to inform fundraising strategies.
- Event Support: Assist in coordinating fundraising events and meetings to ensure seamless execution.
- Marketing Collaboration: Contribute to social media, newsletters, and outreach efforts to support development initiatives.
Qualifications for the Development Coordinator, Non-Profit:
- Language Requirement: Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, or communications (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in nonprofit development, with proven success in fundraising and donor engagement.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with donor management software, fundraising analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Skills: Strong organizational and project management abilities, donor cultivation expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for education with a positive, flexible approach.
- Team Collaboration: Demonstrated teamwork and reliability in fast-paced environments.
- Fundraising Knowledge: Familiarity with donor qualification, prioritization processes, and grant reporting.
