Job Overview – Privacy Manager:

In this role, you will lead the privacy initiatives, ensuring responsible data management across the organization and compliance with global regulations and best practices.
Compensation: $95,000.00 – $160,000.00 + bonus
Location: Essex County, NJ
Responsibilities as the Privacy Manager include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining global privacy policies in compliance with regulations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data protection requirements into new projects
- Reviewing and updating data protection policies in response to changes in laws
- Managing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) in accordance with privacy laws
- Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments and supporting incident response efforts
- Collaborating with third-party vendors to ensure data privacy obligations are met
- Providing privacy training and awareness programs to employees and vendors
- Monitoring changes in data privacy laws and ensuring ongoing compliance
- Serving as a point of contact for privacy inquiries
- Reporting to the Chief Privacy Officer and working cross-functionally to integrate the Privacy Program
Qualifications for the Data Privacy Manager include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in data privacy or related fields
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to execute tasks accurately
- Proficiency in understanding and aligning tasks with strategic objectives
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Project management experience
- In-depth knowledge of data protection legislation, including GDPR, CCPA, and others
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CDPSE, CIPM, CISSP, CIPP, CIPT) preferred
