Location: New York City (Three days remote / two days in office)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Credit Derivatives Operations Analyst with 2-7 years of Credit Derivatives operations experience (CDS++) to join our client's team. As an Operations Professional, you will play a vital role in the middle office/operations functions, working with various teams to ensure smooth trade processing and reconciliation. 

Responsibilities:
In the role of Credit Derivatives Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaborating with portfolio managers, traders, and prime brokers to book and process trades across Credit, Rates, and Structured desks
  • Reconciling risk, P&L, and cash across all desks and products, including CDX, CDS, Tranches, Options, HY, IG, International Bonds, IRS, FX, Futures, Options, TRS, and Equities
  • Managing fund changes such as subscriptions, redemptions, and fund openings/closings in coordination with the desk and accounting team
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance, including CFTC reporting requirements
  • Coordinating internally and externally with counterparties, prime brokers, and fund administrators
  • Conducting intraday risk oversight and producing accurate P&L reports
  • Supporting the implementation of operational processes and procedures
  • Assisting in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of operational systems and tools
  • Collaborating with the Director of Ops and acting as a mentor to junior team members

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Credit Derivatives Operations Analyst role, you should have:

  • 2-7 years of relevant experience in Credit Derivatives operations (CDS++)
  • Strong knowledge of trade processing, reconciliation, and risk management
  • Previous experience with various financial products, including CDX, CDS, Tranches, Options, HY, IG, International Bonds, IRS, FX, Futures, Options, TRS, and Equities
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, particularly CFTC reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in operations, trade processing, and reconciliation
