Position Overview – Controls Oversight Associate II:
Join our client's growing team in the role of Controls Oversight Associate II. In this position, you'll play a vital role in the newly formed in-house Controls team, contributing to the Controllership group's rapid expansion. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and competitive compensation package, including bonuses and benefits.

Compensation: $75,000.00 – $97,500.00 annually + bonus + pension
Location: Boston, Massachusetts – Hybrid (3 days in the office)

Responsibilities as the Controls Oversight Associate II include:

  • Aiding in the shift of the Controls team from external consultants to an internal unit
  • Collaborating with a burgeoning team to oversee controls and audit functions
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP or Statutory accounting/reporting standards
  • Contributing to the expansion of the Controllership group and drive operational excellence
  • Participating in projects enhancing financial transparency and operational efficiency
  • Assisting in special initiatives to reinforce internal control mechanisms
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and solution-oriented thinking
  • Upholding data accuracy, integrity, and regulatory conformity within control processes
  • Adapting and refining procedures to optimize processes and meet objectives
  • Contributing to the team's commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion

Qualifications for the Controls Oversight Associate II include:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in audit/controls
  • Exhibit expertise in GAAP or Statutory accounting/reporting
  • Display keen attention to detail and analytical acumen
  • Communicate effectively through both written and verbal means
  • Adapt to evolving procedures and changing roles
  • Maintain a constructive outlook and dedication to collaborative environments
  • Showcase the ability to work autonomously and within team settings
