Position Overview – Compliance Consulting | Director:
Elevate your career by joining our client's hedge fund and private equity firm as a Director specializing in compliance consulting. In this senior leadership role, you will orchestrate and shape the trajectory of regulatory compliance engagements. Oversee and guide a dynamic team responsible for diverse portfolios, ensuring meticulous adherence to the latest regulatory standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex compliance landscapes and providing strategic counsel to clients.

Compensation: $175,000.00 – $200,000.00 + bonus
Location: New York City

Responsibilities as the Director include:

  • Strategically spearheading the entire spectrum of sales activities, from devising compelling pitches and strategic proposals to defining contractual frameworks
  • Exercising decisive day-to-day stewardship over a substantial and intricate client portfolio • Navigating multifaceted compliance intricacies related to SEC, CFTC, NFA, FINRA rules, and other pivotal regulatory bodies
  • Architecting and implementing comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and manuals in collaboration with clients
  • Providing advanced compliance training across diverse protocols and specialized subjects, fostering a culture of compliance excellence
  • Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating client-specific regulatory risks with acumen
  • Leading the charge in monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting prevailing regulatory trends and anticipated developments
  • Overseeing and driving regulatory mock examination audits, encompassing meticulous documentation and the strategic drafting of exhaustive reports

Requirements for the Director include:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree from a distinguished institution; J.D. or Advanced degree is a substantial asset
  • Seasoned experience spanning 10+ years within the industry, with a proven track record across asset management, law firms, advisory services, or regulatory roles
  • Exemplary interpersonal finesse to foster fruitful on-site client relationships at the highest levels
  • Mastery of written and verbal communication, reflecting the ability to articulate complex concepts with clarity
  • Champion an independent, collaborative approach to intricate problem-solving, coupled with a strategic mindset
  • Evidence a profound analytical acumen and a history of impeccable research skills
  • Demonstrate adeptness in seamlessly managing diverse responsibilities, even within an environment of shifting priorities and team dynamics
  • Exhibit the agility to swiftly assimilate novel concepts and tasks, coupled with the ability to provide strategic insights
