Position Overview – Compliance Consulting | Associate Director:
Join our client’s hedge fund and private equity firm as an Associate Director specializing in compliance consulting. In this senior role, you will provide strategic leadership for regulatory compliance engagements, supervise and guide a team overseeing diverse portfolios, and ensure unwavering adherence to evolving regulatory standards. Stay at the forefront of regulatory developments, steering clients through intricate compliance procedures.

Compensation: $140,000.00 – $170,000.00 + bonus
Location: New York City

Responsibilities as the Associate Director include:

  • Championing and orchestrating the entire sales cycle, from impactful pitches to shaping proposal strategies and refining contract terms
  • Exercising primary day-to-day oversight over a substantial and intricate client portfolio
  • Navigating complex compliance matters related to SEC, CFTC, NFA, FINRA rules, and other pertinent regulators
  • Leading clients in the strategic development of comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and manuals
  • Providing in-depth compliance training across diverse protocols and specialized subjects
  • Proactively assessing and mitigating client regulatory risks with precision
  • Pioneering vigilance in tracking contemporary regulatory trends and forthcoming developments
  • Steering and executing regulatory mock examination audits, encompassing meticulous documentation and the drafting of comprehensive reports

Requirements for the Associate Director include:

  • Holding a Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution; J.D. or Advanced degree is advantageous
  • 8-10 years of demonstrated industry proficiency spanning asset management, law firms, advisory services, or regulatory roles
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills essential for orchestrating productive on-site client partnerships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication acumen
  • Showcase an independent, collaborative approach to intricate problem-solving
  • Display adeptness in analytical prowess and seasoned research skills
  • Proven aptitude in efficiently managing multiple responsibilities and adapting to shifting priorities within a team-centric environment
  • Manifest a quick and adept mastery of novel tasks and intricate concepts
