Position Overview – Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Architect:
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of our client's data warehouse solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the data warehouse solutions meet business requirements and are secure, reliable, and efficient.

Compensation: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00
Location: Dallas County, Texas – Hybrid (three days in office / two days at home)

Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Architect include:

  • Leading the design, development, and implementation of data warehouse solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Developing data models, ETL frameworks, and data transformation procedures
  • Ensuring data security, reliability, and performance in the data warehouse environment
  • Monitoring and maintaining data quality and accuracy
  • Optimizing data loading and processing performance in collaboration with data engineers
  • Conducting data analysis and recommending improvements to data architecture
  • Maintaining data warehouse documentation, including data dictionaries and data flow diagrams
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to the data warehouse development team
  • Ensuring compliance with change management policies and procedures

Qualifications for the Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Architect role include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing data warehousing and architecture solutions
  • 5+ years of experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., SSIS, Data Factory, Glue)
  • Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and MDX
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and Git
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
