Compensation: $130,000 – $155,000 + bonus

Job Overview:
As Associate/Sr Associate, Financial Reporting, your primary responsibility will be to perform valuation analyses on real estate and non-performing loan portfolios using various valuation methods. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing three days in the office and two days from home.
Responsibilities/Deliverables:
The Associate/Sr Associate, Financial Reporting will also be responsible for:

Conducting valuation analyses on real estate and non-performing loan portfolios using comparable transactions and discounted cash flow methods

Maintaining and monitoring asset portfolios, staying informed about macro-economic trends and asset developments that may impact investment values

Supporting auditors, investors, and independent valuation consultants by explaining valuation methodologies

Presenting and defending portfolio-holding values to the Valuation Committee and CFO on a quarterly and monthly basis

Assessing financial impact by Fund of holding value changes and reviewing asset profit and loss statements on a monthly basis
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of valuation experience

Previous experience with a Big 4 firm is a plus

CFA designation or in the process of obtaining it

Proficiency in financial modeling, including cash flow projections, balance sheet analysis, discounted cash flow models, market comparables, and option models

Familiarity with reviewing operational bookings and monthly profit and loss statements is advantageous

Strong knowledge of relevant information technology tools such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver tasks in a clear and concise manner
