Position: Associate — SEC & External Reporting
Compensation: $110,000 – $140,000 + bonus
Location: New York, NY
The Atlantic Group is representing a global alternative investment management firm with over 30 years of experience in Private Equity, Credit, and Real Estate investments. The position is responsible for supporting the financial reporting team and ensuring compliance with SEC, GAAP, and SOX regulations. The role offers opportunities to work with various stakeholders and improve the financial reporting process.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare SEC filings such as Form 10-Q and 10-K and ensure compliance with SEC, GAAP, and SOX regulations
• Collect and analyze non-GAAP metrics and fund performance data
• Prepare internal financial reporting packages for senior management, including detailed commentary and analysis
• Improve financial reporting processes and systems
• Perform ad hoc requests and special projects as necessary
Requirements:
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in Big 4, Financial Services, or other quality SEC Reporting experience
• U.S. GAAP technical accounting expertise, SEC reporting experience, and CPA preferred
• Strong drive and initiative, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills with ability to interpret fund performance metrics and identify unusual trends
Certifications:
• CPA or equivalent preferred
