Job Overview – Assistant Vice President of FP&A (Hybrid):
Become an Assistant Vice President of FP&A with our client in Boston, MA, where you will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for multiple business lines and corporate departments. This hybrid role is perfect for a detail-oriented, self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Assistant Vice President of FP&A:

  • Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process for corporate investment adviser entities and maintain 5-Year budgets for multiple business lines.
  • Reporting: Prepare quarterly variance reports and budget reforecasts, analyzing fluctuations and changes.
  • Forecasting: Manage cash flow forecasting for corporate entities, funds, and properties to support tax planning decisions.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct financial analyses for senior management, providing strategic insights.
  • Process Improvement: Propose and implement improvements in processes, cost-saving opportunities, and automation efforts.
  • Software: Lead the implementation of FP&A reporting software and manage the chart of accounts.

Qualifications for the Assistant Vice President of FP&A:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with FP&A software like Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
  • Skills: Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership: Supervisory experience is a plus.
