Job Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant Hedge Fund Controller to join our client's team and contribute to the success of their financial operations. As an integral member of the company, you will work closely with the Hedge Fund Controller and assist in various financial tasks. 

As the Assistant Hedge Fund Controller, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaborating with the Hedge Fund Controller to ensure smooth financial reporting and accounting operations
  • Assisting in conducting audits and maintaining accurate financial records to ensure data integrity
  • Working closely with internal teams and external auditors to comply with regulatory requirements
  • Participating in portfolio reconciliations, fund valuations, and managing cash flows efficiently
  • Supporting the implementation and enhancement of accounting processes for increased efficiency
  • Contributing to investment-related research and analysis initiatives
  • Helping to prepare financial statements and investor reports under the guidance of experienced professionals

To be considered for the role of Assistant Hedge Fund Controller, you should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in finance, fund accounting, or a related field
  • Familiarity with financial reporting software and accounting tools
  • A basic understanding of regulatory compliance and reporting concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant discipline
  • Possession of professional certifications, such as CPA, will be advantageous
