Position Overview – Alternative Investment Accountant:

Compensation: $95,000.00 – $125,000.00 + bonus
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Responsibilities as the Alternative Investment Accountant include:
- Manage alternative investment accounting functions
- Collaborate with the Financial Controllership team
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of alternative investment transactions
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements
- Contribute to the overall financial controllership process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective financial reporting
- Conduct detailed reviews of alternative investment portfolios
- Monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies
- Participate in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc financial reports
Qualifications for the Alternative Investment Accountant include:
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of alternative investments
- Familiarity with financial statement preparation
- Collaborative and detail-oriented mindset
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or relevant certification preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
