Compensation: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 + bonus
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities as the Accounting Tax Specialist include:
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of diverse tax returns, including income, sales, and property taxes
- Conducting comprehensive research on tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Collaborating with relevant teams to ensure the accurate and timely filing of taxes
- Reviewing financial statements and records to identify avenues for tax optimization
- Active participation in tax audits and provision of necessary documentation
- Regularly reconciling tax accounts and effectively resolving discrepancies
- Contributing to the formulation and execution of tax strategies for improved financial outcomes
- Staying updated with changes in tax laws to maintain compliance
- Providing support for tax-related inquiries and issue resolution
- Enhancing internal tax processes to optimize efficiency
Qualifications as the Accounting Tax Specialist include:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong familiarity with tax regulations, laws, and compliance procedures
- Experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns and related documentation
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Excel for data analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- The ability to work harmoniously within a team
