Compensation: $80,000-$98,000 + bonus
Location: Stamford, CT
Financial services firm is looking to add an Accountant to its growing organization. This hybrid position will be responsible for general accounting and managing vendor payables.
Highlights About the Company & Position:
- Prepare cash and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple Rockefeller Capital Management entities.
- Assist the controllers group with the month-end close.
- Review and booking and corporate card expense for the firm.
- Perform day-to-day vendor payable functions using software.
- Assist with accounting and payable inquiries and requests.
- Prepare sales and use tax returns for various states and reconcile use tax payable accounts.
- Assist with the lease accounting.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- 1 – 3 years of accounting experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel required.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP Concur preferred.
