Responsibilities

 

  • Examine data and synthesize research published by development finance institutions, government entities, industry groups and numerous publications to obtain data applicable to developing markets and the company’s investment approaches.
  • Conduct research in conjunction with the investment teams to evaluate the market opportunity for new product initiatives and to identify cyclical opportunities to launch targeted marketing campaigns for various evergreen products.
  • Based upon the research efforts noted above, work with the investment teams to compose thought leadership pieces of varying length and frequency including a weekly aggregation of third party news articles accompanied by brief commentary, monthly summaries of the company’s Global Strategy Meeting and in depth quarterly pieces on topics relevant to the firm’s fundraising initiatives.
  • Assist legal team in drafting offering documents for the company’s funds and accounts.
  • Draft press releases announcing private market investments and divestments as well as corporate transactions.
  • Prepare performance talking points summarizing the highlights of investor newsletters and reports.
  • Edit and review monthly and quarterly investor newsletters and reports written by investment teams.
  • Maintain due diligence library and review/edit completed requests for proposal.
  • Contribute to the design and review of marketing fact sheets and presentations.
  • Edit various other documents at the request of the investment and business management teams.

 

Requirements

 

  • 3 to 5 yrs experience.
  • IDEALLY someone who’s written about Investments/Follows the markets, etc.
