Responsibilities

 

  • Interfacing with investors, clients, placement agents, and other external service providers
  • Making outbound calls and fielding inbound calls from existing and prospective investors
  • Presenting the clients offerings to prospective investors
  • Planning and preparing for roadshows; traveling to investor meetings in a sales territory
  • Identifying, researching, and qualifying prospects
  • Verifying and maintaining current information in the company’s CRM system
  • Creating and updating marketing materials for fund and service offerings
  • Writing and editing lengthy, detailed RFP/RFI responses alongside junior members of the team

 

Requirements

 

  • Within a reasonable time-frame, the candidate must be able to explain/describe the clients investment strategies to a wide range of institutional audiences, from CEO/CIO level personnel to entry-level staff at public and corporate pension funds, consultants, foundations, endowments, wealth management firms and family offices
  • Must work well independently and in group settings with minimal supervision
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with junior and senior professionals across the Firm, including accounting, administrative, investment, legal, and other team members
