US Middle Office Analyst

Responsibilities

 

  • Individual price authentication, valuation and PNL production.
  • Examine markets and internal systems to guarantee real-time, precise performance and risk metrics for Portfolio Managers and Senior Management. Swiftly detect and resolve any issues as they arise.
  • Offer routine services involving corporate action processing, P&L analysis and attribution, fund NAV verification, etc.
  • Oversight and development of valuation methodologies and model suitability; standard independent modelling of OTC and Exotic transactions
  • Position requires extensive interaction with company’s traders, counterparties and internal support departments (Operations, Trade Support, Risk, Software Development, Legal, Treasury, Investor Relations, as well as with external Fund Accountants and Auditors)
  • Perform reviews to incorporate all relevant information to the valuation process including analysis of the transaction structure, the modelling and methodology adopted, available market data and/or any proxies considered appropriate, valuation adjustments and any relevant regulatory, risk or accounting considerations

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree necessary (majors in Finance, Mathematics or related fields)
  • A least 3 years of experience in a product valuation or product control that offered coverage to a broad suite of financial instruments.
  • Enhanced proficiency of Microsoft Office Applications
  • CFA candidate is a plus
  • Basic programming proficiency (SQL, Python) is a plus
  • Pricing knowledge in equities, rates, options, and fixed income required.
