Transformation Project Lead

Responsibilities

 

  • Drive implementation and standup of technology capabilities for the management company accounting function including a corporate GL, expense management and partnership accounting solutions
  • Design efficient database schema to support the integration of management company accounting systems with data warehouse
  • Drive integration and reporting needs of management company accounting capability to completion
  • Development, debugging and performance tuning of TSQL and ETL processes for reporting and integration
  • Provide guidance and oversight for technology implementations including working with internal constituents as well as external resources and vendors to drive the project to successful completion
  • Provide direction to the development efforts by third party consultancies and vendors including design and code reviews
  • Assist in rethinking key functional management company areas to create best-in-class processes which can be implemented efficiently
  • Establish project milestones and track progress to establish key communication touch points with senior leadership
  • Provide financial reporting guidance throughout the consolidation process
  • Help develop and maintain efficient internal controls and business processes
  • Effectively communicate project and development status to technology team lead and project stakeholders

 

Requirements

 

  • Qualified candidates must possess a Computer Science or Technical degree with 6-8 years of applicable technical experience
  • 2+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • Workday Financials Professional certification or Investran Developer certification preferred
  • Experience in data warehousing and systems integration for financial services institutions required
  • Experience implementing financial services and/or management company accounting systems is required (i.e. Corporate GL, Expense Management, Partnership Accounting)
  • Experience leading requirements gathering phases, producing solution design/functional specifications, pre-delivery testing, client training and supporting systems required
  • Candidate should have experience with the following types of systems: General Ledger, Consolidation, Financial Reporting; Expense Allocation a plus
  • Candidate should have strong experience developing, maintaining, and integrating with data warehouses for financial intuitions
  • Candidate must be well versed in TSQL, ETL and query performance tuning
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and willing to work in a team environment
  • Experience across all phases of the SDLC and Agile software development practices
