Technology Assistant

We are representing a New York-based alternative investment management firm, which currently manages nearly $19 billion. The Firm’s investment approach is fundamental and research-intensive through a single, centrally-managed investment team. This individual will provide administrative support to the CTO and IT Department.




  • Manage CTO and Department calendars and phones including heavy video conference coordination
  • Process expenses and invoices in accordance with the budget; track and coordinate contract renewals
  • Complete monthly expense reports for the Department via Concur
  • Maintain important technology contacts in Outlook and the firm’s CRM system
  • Maintain internal Wiki page for the firm
  • Coordinate monthly training for the Department; responsible for training other departments on various applications
  • Track technology conferences and coordinate travel
  • Coordinate department events and assist with firm wide events having an IT component
  • Other administrative tasks for the Department, as needed




  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience required, preferably with knowledge of technology and IT environment
  • Forward thinking with strong ability to take initiative; be accountable and follow through on assigned duties
  • Extremely organized with keen attention to detail
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and maintain flexibility
  • Customer service driven with excellent communication skills
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
