Technical Producer

  • Site surveys at host venues (e.g., to assess Internet, Wifi, POTS line for production trucks, fiber, power and other technical resources)
  • Pre-event testing of technical and transmission infrastructure
  • Coordinate and distribute event and technical information and slates to production and distribution partners
  • Coordinate and test inbound and outbound data feeds
  • Procure necessary hardware for primary/backup melt and for distribution after events
  • Manage streaming equipment/transport for streamed events, e.g., weigh-ins, press conferences, etc.
  • Manage satellite and other transmission vendors
  • Manage live streaming
  • Manage data feed distribution
  • Monitor worldwide live streams, communications, transmission issues
  • Produce copies of dirty/clean/melt/weigh-in videos and distribute to all partners
  • Encode/upload show to MAM (during or immediately following show)
  • Manage archival files on cloud, tape and offsite storage
  • Manage catalog/metadata schema for video assets
  • Oversee all corporate IT needs
  • Oversee media asset management system
  • Provide diligence support to business teams in evaluating new technologies and platform for business operations




  • College degree from an accredited college
  • 5+ years of experience building or operating digital streaming and digital asset management systems
  • The skill to effectively communicate with non-technical business partners
  • Comfort with change and a high growth, disruptive work environment
