Talent Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage full lifecycle talent acquisition process for staff and internship programs
  • Work with hiring managers and stakeholders to formulate, apply and manage temporary and continuing recruiting tactics to meet hiring goals and expectations for a diverse, collaborative and productive workforce
  • Proactively recognize and evaluate talent, propose new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities, use an assortment of sourcing methodologies, including but not limited to social media, job boards, referrals, industry contacts, manager and employee networks and associations
  • Create and foster high touch relationships with active and passive candidates, ensuring qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
  • Prepare offers, create strategic closing plans, negotiate compensation packages, and ultimately hiring candidates
  • Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events
  • Understand and stay current with all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.

 

Requirements

 

  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ATS knowledge preferred.
  • Strong data analysis and maintenance skills.
  • Strong orientation towards customer service and commitment to timely and accurate problem resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to define gaps and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate and build relationships at all levels.
