SVP Acquisitions — Multifamily & Industrial

Philadelphia, PA

We are representing a $15 billion+ AuM private equity institutional real estate investment management firm with a 20+ year track record of portfolio management & growth. As they raise their fifth fund, they are looking for an additional SVP Acquisitions to lead their Multifamily & Industrial platforms, nationally.




  • Institutional 50-person firm focused in: Industrial, Multifamily, & Strip-Center Retail — with value-add component & strategy
  • Primarily active LP investor that JV’s with local operating partners on value-add deals
  • Deep network of capital sources — fund strategy
  • Work alongside the Senior Managing Director of the Private Equity group
  • Deploy capital within Industrial & Multifamily across the country with strategic JV partners on opportunistic real estate
  • Source new deals and partners
  • Oversee the underwriting process (with an analyst/or multiple analysts reporting to you)
  • Lead the business plan creation strategy
  • Create/lead Investment Committee presentations
  • Leverage deep relationships and industry knowledge with stakeholders across both platforms across the country to generate deal-flow — and execute




  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Real Estate, or related, from a top university
  • 10-20 years of experience leading the acquisition strategy and execution for a similar institutional real estate group
  • Proficiency in both ARGUS & Excel
  • JV negotiation experience
  • Multiple asset class & multiple geographic experience and track record
  • Hunter mentality, high real estate acumen, and high emotional intelligence
