Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for the preparation of numerous intercompany accounting timetables correlated to the monthly close process, and accumulation of reports used to deliver monthly/quarterly/annual financial data to Senior Management.
  • Responsible for executing monthly close processes applying Oracle modules, involving working closely with individuals at the Company’s two manufacturing facilities.
  • Guarantee consolidation procedure is correctly performed.
  • Assist in the implementation and testing of new processes and IT systems.
  • Prepare intercompany accounting journal entries through various IT systems, prepare intercompany invoicing and analysis, and discuss quarterly results with Senior Management.
  • Responsible for accounting for intercompany transactions, including the review of trial balance information, related to the Company’s international and domestic subsidiaries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and related supporting schedules in connection with statutory financial statements for Company’s international and domestic subsidiaries (in accordance with the applicable accounting standards).
  • Assist with the implementation of business initiatives, including international tax planning, and ad hoc requests from internal and external partners.
  • Interact directly with the Company’s external auditors.
  • Work and communicate effectively with various departments across the organization, including Finance, Tax, Treasury, etc.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting combined with at least one year of public accounting or corporate accounting experience within a public company.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft applications is required and knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
  • We need someone who can apply their general understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and SEC rules and regulations into all accounting and financial tasks.
  • A background in Intercompany transactions is needed.
  • You have acquired strong interpersonal and project management skills and pay close attention to detail due to the importance of accuracy
