Sr. Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

 

  • Process correct and timely semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls in a multi-state environment using ADP.
  • Complete regular pre and post audits to guarantee payroll accurateness.
  • Act as main point of contact for national employees concerning questions correlated to payroll.
  • Deliver employees professional and timely replies via phone/email/in-person while educating them on procedures and policies.
  • Timesheet review/processing for adherence to company policy and payment of overtime.
  • Prepare monthly payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • BS degree in Accounting or equivalent payroll-related work experience required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of multi state payroll processing experience
  • Payroll and U.S. tax law experience, including W2 and taxable fringe benefits.
  • Knowledge of ADP and MS Excel required. Experience with MS Access, Workday & Oracle a plus.
