Responsibilities

 

  • Offer management, guidance, road maps, principles, standards and best practices for designing, selecting, building, configuring, and positioning business aptitude through application & technology solutions.
  • Guarantee that applications, data, and technology are in line with the business and IS strategy, technology, and governance requirements, policies and standards.
  • Deliver architectural guidance and oversight across projects and technology platforms, and certify that guiding principles are abided by
  • Design and uphold company wide application and data architecture to guarantee data integrity and data management
  • Collaborate with business leaders to comprehend needs and work to make sure system investments are appropriately scoped, delivered and managed
  • Join forces with project managers and other staff members to cultivate budgets and timelines for solutions
  • Identify the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impact of the solutions architecture
  • Determine expected and realized ROI for IS solutions
  • Monitor the current-state of IS Platforms that enable business services and solutions to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies or misalignment with business requirements and industry trends
  • Involved in application purchase decisions to ensure no duplication of capabilities and compliance with data integration/architecture
  • Actively research and stay aware of emerging technologies and applications systems’ availability and best practices and proposing changes where needed
  • Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”)
  • Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards
  • Ensuring the application of IS policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all services

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, System Analysis or a related field of study
  • 10 years of experience in IS and selecting, maintaining and developing enterprise applications and solutions
  • Microsoft Certification (MCITP, MCSA, or MCSE) preferred.
  • Experience with the following technologies preferred: SSRS, Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, Azure AD, Power BI, Teams, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agent, and Service Now
  • Familiarity with Java, REST APIs, C#, SQL, PowerShell, PowerApps, Relational & Non-relational DB, ETL, Big Data, and Cloud (Azure, AWS)
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, including enterprise or hosting provider services SaaS, PaaS and IaaS Solutions
  • Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
  • Experience in the integration of multiple applications including automation of data update between systems.
  • Experience in successfully leading technical projects (Project Management)
  • A wide degree of creativity, efficiency, and understanding of application design and data modeling.
  • Experience in architecting and designing scalable easily manageable business systems.
  • Experience leading systems architecture and design sessions with members of applications and technology teams.
  • Experience in architecting and deploying web-based and web-enabled business applications.
