Role Overview – Software Engineer | OMS Integration:
Join a leading financial technology firm as a Software Engineer focusing on Order Management System (OMS) integration.

In this role you will collaborate with senior managers and clients to understand requirements, develop elegant solutions, and enhance the integration between their systems and popular OMS platforms. You will also contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment.

Compensation: $200,000.00 – $300,000.00 + bonus
Location: Remote (EST preferred) or Hybrid (1 day/week in Stamford, CT)

Responsibilities as the Software Engineer include:
•    Developing C# code to enhance our client and Charles River IMS integration
•    Coding and enhancing the interface with CRD FIX system
•    Interfacing with CRD web services and XML messaging APIs
•    Debugging inter-system mapping, logic, and workflow issues
•    Testing and deploying code for use in production
•    Communicating with both technical and non-technical staff
•    Demonstrating a self-starter mentality and willingness to figure things out independently

Qualifications of the Software Engineer include:
•    Deep experience using CRD FIX and web service APIs (Trading, SecuritiesAndIssuers and Compliance)
•    Deep experience coding and debugging in CRD's FIX Message adapter and FMC Plugin
•    Fluency in resultsets, configurations, and blotter buttons for CRD
•    Understanding of CRD nuances in fixed income, FX, and OTC derivative asset classes workflows
•    Proficiency in C#.NET (3+ years of experience)
•    5+ years of experience in a development-related role
•    Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills
•    Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a technical field
