Senior Manager, Sales Analysis and Compensation

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead in creating, implementing, and monitoring sales reporting infrastructure to enhance and support business goals, including sales reporting, sales analysis, key performance indicators, and overall sales alignment.
  • Drive the annual Account Executive Budget and Target compensation setting process. This includes working with the Local Sales Management teams and staff to assign appropriate revenue and compensation targets for the Company’s sales teams.
  • Planning and analysis of all sales-budgeting related activities.
  • Provide thought leadership in the design of all sales incentive programs, monitor, and manage the execution of those programs.
  • Provide periodic updates as to progress against annual compensation plan and strategic goals.
  • Track National and Local commission plan performance, prepare/report compensation plan observations and ensure compliance across sales teams. Should issues arise, recommend modifications to commission plans and analyze model-associated cost implications.
  • Liaise with the Company’s Technology Services team to develop and enhance the Company’s sales compensation related performance reporting.
  • Create and maintain documentation for processes and best practices. Mediate when markets do not agree on budget transfers. Organize the Budget Relief Process.
  • Manage the Business Analyst who is responsible for maintenance of the Company’s customer data.
  • Liaise with Business Transformation Office on future initiatives, including implementation of enhanced master data management (i.e. customer/business category) system and other enhancements.
  • Seek to streamline and improve existing processes by working closely with IT, Finance, and the Shared Services group.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight years of business experience mandatory. Finance, business, marketing or comparable discipline ideal. Experience in media or advertising a positive.
  • At least five years of sales analysis, commissions, business planning or correlated experience.
  • Must have advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access skills. Familiarity with VBA/Macros is essential; an understanding of SQL experience is a plus.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and business acumen with the ability to make a significant contribution to performance and profitability.
