Responsibilities

 

  • Create and maintain varying probability-weighted financial models for portfolio holdings and new investments
  • Gather data and strategic inputs to create numerous outcome scenarios
  • Conduct primary research on investment and macroeconomic themes, drawing upon numerous sources of related and third-party data
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop assumptions for the Firm’s strategic investment analysis and resulting strategic asset allocation.
  • Collaborate with all team members and other market/investment experts to establish Investment Strategy themes.
  • Manage, update and improve model portfolios.
  • Conduct client meetings and represent the Firm in client meetings and public forums, sometimes requiring travel to national or international destinations.

 

Requirements

 

  • M.B.A or Ph.D. or M.S. degree from a top tier institution in a highly analytical field, such as Mathematics, Operations Research, Optimization, Electrical Engineering,
  • Financial Engineering, Computer Science or Physics
  • Minimum Required: 5+ years of substantive investment experience
  • Solid programming skills (C++/Python/Perl) is a strong plus
  • Understanding of optimization theory and algorithms
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Monte Carlo scenarios & probability theory analysis
  • Interest/background in legal process and/or litigation finance
