Senior Fund Accountant

  • Responsible for all accounting for the lending funds and related entities.
  • Duties will be determined from time to time, and initially include performing the controls of the day‐to‐day operation, ensuring adherence to procedures and policies, and for providing necessary data to senior management and investors.
  • Assist in general partner accounting, financial statement presentation, comprehension of deal closings, and the accounting and operational impact of such closings.
  • Additional responsibilities include: tax preparation, cash management, assistance in deal funding, capital calls and distributions for the funds; reviewing key areas of daily operations in order to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures and controls; ensuring the completeness and timeliness of reporting to investors, outside parties, and other internal departments; ensuring an efficient work environment; reviewing accounting related issues, communicating ideas and contributing to the development of the department and Group goals.
  • Serve as a contact for outside audits.






  • CPA a plus
  • Minimum 5‐7 years of accounting experience, preferably including Public Big 4 and partnership or private equity fund accounting
  • Experience with various complex private equity legal and investment structures
  • Experience with distressed debt or mezzanine lending investments a plus
  • Experience using partnership accounting applications (e.g., Investran) a plus
