Senior Financial Planning Analyst

Responsibilities

 

  • Individual will utilize their actuarial and financial analysis skills to become the face of a new business line for a leading insurance provider
  • Position will report directly to the VP of Operations while working indirectly with Corporate Finance
  • This role consists of a unique blend of actuarial, finance, and operations
  • Company is an industry leader and is known for cultivating an environment where employees feel valued and appreciated
  • This individual will obtain great exposure to leadership and an integral member of the new business line

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Accounting, Finance from an accredited school
  • 3+ years of experience in actuarial work and/or financial analysis work within the Insurance industry; preferably long term care insurance exposure
  • CPA, ASA, or FSA preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Person is a self-starter and has shown the ability to overcome challenges independently
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
  • Domestic travel up to 25%
