Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare recurring/non-recurring journal entries in connection with month-end close process
  • Prepare account reconciliations for various General Ledger accounts, such as debt, interest, equity method investments, aircraft insurance, various accrual accounts, etc.
  • Prepare month/quarter-end working trial balances for use in financial statement preparation
  • Assist with preparation of the monthly management financials/reporting package
  • Prepare month/quarter-end schedules in support of internal and external reporting deadlines, including responding to internal and external audit requests
  • Monthly analysis and reconciliation of intercompany balances, including ongoing monitoring and resolution of intercompany accounts.
  • Maintain the General Ledger hierarchy, including creation of legal entities, accounting units, department codes, General Ledger accounts, and other reporting dimensions as needed
  • Serve as key liaison between the Accounting Department and IT for the day-to-day maintenance and architecture of the Company’s General Ledger
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and/or supplemental schedules as directed by management.
  • Manage the Concur expense reporting platform, including analyzing/recording monthly expense accruals, assisting employees with expense submissions, and other general expense-related maintenance

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3 – 5 years relevant work experience
  • Advanced in Microsoft Suite
  • Experience working with general ledger platforms, as a user. (prefer parallel experience as an administrator)
