Project/Operations Manager

 We are representing a 100+ year old Local Union III electrical subcontracting firm.  They are in an exciting phase of their growth/evolution and looking at expanding from their core of corporate interiors to more public works projects as well.  They are looking for a project manager who has experience with this type of work and relationships in this sphere. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage both corporate interiors ($100k-$3 million) and public works projects in the pipeline
  • Manage critical path schedule and budgets
  • Communicate effective, both internally and externally with various subcontractors and clients
  • Proactively determine and define scope of work and deliverables
  • Interface with clients and vendors
  • Multitask and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously

 

Requirements

 

  • 7-10 years of electrical project management experience
  • Bachelor’s in construction management, or related, preferred
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and oral
  • Extremely detail-oriented and ability to multi-task well
