Private Equity Tax Supervisor

Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare and review private equity tax deliverables, including preparation and review of tax estimates, year-end tax workpapers, and Schedule K-1s
  • Review federal and state tax returns prepared by 3rd party
  • Communicate directly to managers on status of assignments and issues encountered
  • Research federal, state, and international tax issues
  • Liaise with clients and their tax advisors on the preparation of partnership income tax returns
  • Liaise with Fund Accounting, Onboarding, Waterfall, and other company teams globally
  • Assist in the development of processes around growing private equity business to enhance client offering
  • Participate in technology automation, procedure development, and other special projects

 

Requirements

 

  • 3+ years of relevant private equity tax compliance experience
  • Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
  • Knowledge of partnership accounting and allocations, including tax waterfalls
  • Experience with federal and state tax return compliance
  • Strong Excel skills; knowledge of Investran a plus
