  • Work on a bank loan portfolio overseeing a newly appointed outsourcing provider. Portfolio includes secondary par credits on a high-volume trading desk following the LSTA Standard Terms and Conditions.
  • Responsibilities for par portfolio, will include but not limited to, liaising with traders and internal legal counsel on trade discrepancies, legal terms of trade, counterparty issues and reviewing daily reporting.
  • Oversee the closing of trades with strict deadlines for large sales programs raising cash for fund liquidations and redemptions.
  • Manage cash forecasting and balance management for new CLO warehouses.
  • Coordinate corporate actions and amendments on bank loan trades with internal teams and outsourcing provider.
  • Trade closer will also work on distressed bank loan trades and correspond directly with traders, portfolio managers, legal counsel and counterparties on all aspects of the closing process. Review and negotiate terms of trade on the Trade Confirmation, Purchase and Sale Agreement and Purchase Price Letter for final sign off.
  • Arrange distressed trade closings with counterparties on the fund allocations, closing documents and pricing calculations. Review all calculations of the Purchase Price Letter to include delayed compensation, economic benefit of commitment reduction, cost of carry and related fees.
  • Work with the deal team on our Capital Markets desk for new agency deal closings. Coordinate deal closings with deal team and white label provider to ensure all terms and deadlines are met for closing date.  Post deal closing responsibilities include working directly between the borrower and white label service provider on daily servicing activity.
  • Review credit agreements and approve all deal builds by white label provider.
  • Oversee the processing of daily Assignments and control for position discrepancies.
  • Work on primary syndications for our Capital Markets fronting business using ClearPar and coordinate closings with counterparties, agent banks and internal compliance and finance teams.




  • Ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of five years of bank loan experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and oversee a high volume of work
  • Self-starter who is detail oriented, very organized and pro-active in executing responsibilities
  • Proficiency on ClearPar, Loan IQ, Geneva and Black Mountain System a plus
  • Distressed loan closing background a plus
