Media Sales Representative

Our client is one of the oldest publishers in their industry, bringing in annual revenue over $2M. They publish 2 large and very well-known print & digital magazines, and they also facilitate 2 large conferences every year. They are now looking to add a sales professional to the team to help sell print and digital advertising space, as well as conference sponsorship opportunities.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct phone calls to existing and new customers for business development
  • Develop relationship with businesses to understand their needs & develop a customized advertising plans
  • Serve existing clients by optimizing current purchases with new and relevant media services
  • Makes recommendations for the customer
  • Maintain documentation of customer contact and account updates

 

 

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Degree or relevant experience
  • Minimum 6 months + of B2B sales experience
  • Driven & motivated to work in a competitive marketplace
  • Must be familiar with internet, social media, e-mail and common office technology
