Role Overview – Manager, Operations (Trade Support & Reconciliation):
Our client is a private investment management firm employing a flexible approach across Private Equity, Private Credit, and Real Estate to develop the most attractive opportunities for our investors. The firm has approximately $35+ billion in capital under management, with an office in New York and overseas.

Compensation: $160,000.00 – $180,000.00
Location/Office Policy: New York, NY (Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 remote)

Responsibilities of the Manager, Operations include: 
•    Capture trades, reconcile blotters, and resolve exceptions across asset classes
•    Liaise with the trading desk, brokers, custodians, and middle office to facilitate settlements
•    Perform daily trade affirmation, confirmation, and end-of-day OMS review
•    Monitor daily cash and position reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies
•    Set up and maintain security data in the firm's security master and data warehouse
•    Respond to inquiries from investment, compliance, service provider, and admin teams
•    Identify process improvements and contribute to strategic infrastructure initiatives
•    Oversee third-party middle office team and communicate with fund administration
•    Ensure proper booking, reporting, and controls from trade capture through settlement

Qualifications of the Manager, Operations include:
•    8-12 years of experience in Credit/Hedge Fund Operations or Middle Office
•    Deep knowledge of trade lifecycle for CDS, ABS, IRS, FX, Bank Debt, Loans, Revolvers
•    Expertise in trade capture, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
•    Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
•    Proficiency in Virtus Portfolio Manager (VPM) or similar OMS preferred
•    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
