Manager – External Reporting

Responsibilities

 

  • Perform quarterly analytical review of consolidated and divisional results, including streamlining data collection. Work closely with divisional finance personnel on key drivers of financial fluctuations.
  • Prepare/Review MD&A section and segment disclosures of 10-Q/K with appropriate support.
  • Manage the preparation and/or review of the non-GAAP adjustment process to ensure all approvals are received and amounts are appropriately recorded and reconciled.
  • Manage the preparation and/or review of the press release and earnings call script and all supporting documentation
  • Liaise with the Investor Relations, Treasury and Legal functions (i.e. support earnings documents, support refinancing presentations, analyst presentation materials, BOD presentations, etc.).
  • Participate in USGAAP/SEC/Peer Company research and corporate policy setting, as needed.
  • Work closely with local and divisional finance personnel to implement more efficient and effective processes.
  • Perform Sarbanes-Oxley controls related to Financial Accounting Close and Quarterly Reporting processes.
  • Manage sections of Audit Committee communications and support quarterly filings.
  • Self and staff development, through internal/external training, performance evaluations, etc.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in Accounting is required
  • CPA certification is required
  • 6-7 years’ experience in In-depth accounting and reporting knowledge on all aspects of SEC Regulation S-X, primarily including forms 10-K/10-Q as well as Regulation S-K rule 303 Management’s Discussion & Analysis.
  • Knowledge on SEC interpretations, including CD&I Non-GAAP Financial Measures.
  • Strong analytical skills in order to identify errors in accounting quantification or disclosure in all SEC Reporting forms
  • Strong and effective negotiation skills in managing cross-functional projects, including the validation of disclosures and statements to be made publicly in the earnings release
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge in SAP, Hyperion and Workiva is preferred.
