Instructional Designer

Responsibilities

 

  • Partner with GxP and non GxP Learning Partners and business sponsors to assess learning needs and determine desired learning and performance outcomes aligned to business process training needs.
  • Design engaging, innovative, efficient, and effective training solutions factoring in timing, cost, and other constraints. Conduct training needs analysis and other instructional design activities required to support overall business and learning outcomes.
  • Develop learning solutions and multi-component learning programs leveraging SMEs, internally and externally, for content and review. Develop learning assessments, surveys, and other evaluation tools to assess learning transfer and business impact.
  • Project manage learning component of projects through consultation on budgets and timelines and ensure adherence to all relevant policies and SOPs involved.
  • Participate in the ongoing development, implementation, review and revision of policies, standards, documentation and processes to ensure all training and training materials meet minimum standards of excellence and consistency in terms of instructional design integrity.

 

Requirements

 

  • Experience with using a variety of eLearning applications such as Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, Lectora, collaborative media, video, etc. and able to explain their comparative uses
  • Strong proficiency using all MS Office applications; and other software products such as: Framemaker or Pagemaker, Dream Weaver, Adobe Acrobat; Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash) preferred. HTML, CSS or Javascript experience a plus. Firm understanding of graphic design principles
  • Knowledge of course development and delivery tools and formats (self-study, instructor-led computer-based training, distance learning, gamification, simulation, virtual reality and paper-based)
  • Knowledge of Performance Consulting process for training program analysis and design
  • Knowledge of GLP, GCP, and GMP training regulations a plus
