Human Resources Manager- Employee Relations

Responsibilities

 

  • Run quality studies of grievances from intake interviews to recommended corrective actions which vary from training to terminations.
  • Guarantee investigations are handled in a reasonable, timely manner, and consistent with company culture and local requirements.
  • Ability to listen and leverage your insights to influence all levels of the organization and effectively handle complex employee situations where the corrective action could have significant organizational impact.
  • Partner across the Company with senior leaders, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, HR Business Partners, and Corporate Security.
  • Stay abreast of the Company policies, practices and guidelines.
  • Create guidelines, best practice research, and trainings to educate employees, managers, and other members of HR in how to mitigate and properly address behavioral issues in the workplace.
  • Advise HR Business Partners on complex performance issues.

 

Requirements

 

  • 3-5 years of Employee Relations experience for a complex, rapidly changing environment.
  • Broad knowledge of HR Acuity case management system, including reporting functionality.
  • Ability to travel on occasionally.
  • WGA union experience and labor law knowledge is a plus.
