Human Resources Assistant/Coordinator

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Update and enter employee data by means of HRIS; ADP Workforce Now and benefits portals
  • Coordinate recruitment effort by posting openings, organizing applications and scheduling interviews
  • Administer onboarding process; prepare employee files, collect information, complete background checks
  • Familiarize new employees to the organization and conduct benefit enrollments
  • Assist with payroll processing, prepare biweekly payroll reports and ensure paid time off is tracked
  • Process statement reconciliations, invoice approvals and claims resolutions
  • Update personnel files including confidential records, performance reviews and other critical actions
  • Perform audits as directed to ensure that all required documentation is collected and preserved
  • Draft documentation including requisition forms, offer letters, visa applications and separation agreements
  • Complete separation paperwork, assist with exit interviews and send intradepartmental notices
  • Maintain extensive department reports for regular internal distribution

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • Adept problem-solver, able to identify issues and resolve in a timely manner
  • Extremely attentive to detail, accurate and thorough, capable of monitoring work independently for quality
  • Ability to plan time efficiently, prioritize and focus under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly and with a keen sense of discretion

 

 

 

Requirements

 

 

  • 1-2 years of work experience as HR Assistant/Coordinator
  • Work experience in a demanding, client service environment a plus
  • College degree in related area of study
  • Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and additional HRIS
  • Computer adept; experienced with Microsoft Office, capable of learning new programs
  • Familiarity with Excel functions such as VLookup, Countifs and Pivot tables a plus
