Responsibilities 

 

  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Responsible for timely updating and maintaining the Employee Handbook, required workplace postings, and HR related communications
  • Partner with and support organization’s training and development needs
  • Maintain updated job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. Provides guidance regarding job leveling and compensation standards
  • Lead Recruitment and Employee Hiring/Onboarding process as well as termination – establish a recruiting and interviewing program; counsel managers on candidate selection; initiate and monitor HireRight process and results; administer employment onboarding documentation; prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs. Regularly evaluate the program for performance and improvement targets
  • Lead the preparation and implementation of the annual Internship Program
  • Responsible for defining and managing all requisite Employee records through a secure archiving system that ensures confidentiality
  • Maintain efficient and effective employee benefit programs (health insurance, 401K, FSA, Commuter Benefits, etc.) through management of the decision process and implementation of programs; review as needed.
  • Lead the management and evolution of the Employee Performance Review process
  • Work closely with Business Operations to maintain a compensation plan
  • Supervise and administer payroll and related duties
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal, state and city requirements; responsible for making sure all company policies and practices are in compliance
  • Manage all aspects of unemployment claims and wage garnishment notices, and represent the organization at required hearings
  • Determine the Annual Company Holiday Calendar and work with Business Operations & Assistant Office Manager to support the planning of
  • Company Social Events as well as other company related events
  • Track and Manage all safety certifications for all employees
  • Track and manage PTO policy / PTO requests
  • Supervise Admin staff

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ Years of Human Resource Management Experience inclusive of strong focus in program and policy creation and implementation, organizational assessment and development.
  • Required Experience in: Hiring (recruitment, interviewing and onboarding), Human Resources Management, Benefits Administration,
  • Performance Management, Communication Processes, Compensation and Wage Structure, Job Descriptions, Classifying Employees,
  • Employment Law, Organization assessment and development approaches
