Help Desk Technician

Responsibilities

 

  • Respond to and resolving support requests for the end users.
  • Implement technology guidelines adopted by the company.
  • Maintain and update helpdesk tickets.
  • Implement current and future IT strategies with respect to the agency.
  • Assist with coordination of system deployments, maintenance and operations.
  • Participate and contribute to team projects
  • Perform hardware and software system configuration, maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting of workstations, laptops, mobile devices, peripheral devices, switches, and routers.
  • Travel to and from agency locations.

 

Requirements

 

  • High School diploma needed; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Must have a wide-ranging knowledge in computer hardware, Network Systems and various software (Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, and Communication Technology.)
  • Power to lift 50lbs and sit or stand for long period of times throughout the day.
  • Must have the ability to make decisions in the absence of the Territory Manager.
  • Must have the ability to accept a significant level of responsibility and accountability.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • A+ and/or Network+ certifications a plus.
