Job Overview – General Superintendent
Seeking a General Superintendent to take a pivotal role in overseeing ground-up construction projects, including multi-family and senior assisted living facilities. Compensation: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 + bonus + company truck
Location: Dauphin County, PA – Onsite
Responsibilities as the General Superintendent include:
- Oversee and manage ground-up construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular construction site inspections to monitor progress, safety protocols, and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to address any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
- Serve as a liaison between the construction project team, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
- Manage the construction project documentation, including permits, contracts, and progress reports.
Qualifications of the General Superintendent include:
- 20+ years of construction management experience required,
- Proven experience in ground-up construction management, particularly in multi-family and senior assisted living facilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and resolve conflicts.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- OSHA certification and other relevant certifications are a plus.
