Fund Controller / Senior Fund Accountant

Greenwich, CT

Responsibilities

 

  • Accounting and reporting for a Private Equity Fund and related entities:
  • Quarterly financial statements and reporting for both external and internal reporting
  • Cash management/cash flow forecasting
  • Expense allocations
  • Capital calls and distributions
  • Investor questions/adhoc requests
  • Carried interest calculations
  • IRR calculations
  • Structure chart/cap table maintenance
  • Bank/lender compliance
  • Coordinate with Tax Manager for annual tax compliance, quarterly estimates and withholding
  • Manage annual audit with external auditors
  • Utilize AltaReturn/Microsoft CRM for daily accounting and reporting functions
  • Complete annual financial statements for family office/legacy entities
  • Oversight of Management Company
  • Manage overseas team to complete daily activity

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience, preferably in Private Equity
  • Ability to interpret legal documents
  • Strong technology skills. AltaReturn experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
