Financial Manager

Stamford, CT




  • Manage and engage in the preparation of two to three Statutory Quarterly and Annual Statements and also be responsible for the US GAAP accounting of those same legal entities. This will include a staff of up to two accountants.
  • Analyze variances in the Statutory and US GAAP Financial Statements, technical accounts and investment accounts and provide updates to Executive staff.
  • Assist in preparation of related regulatory filings
  • Provide Executive staff with financial information for Board level meetings.
  • Research and analyze Statutory and US GAAP accounting standards and updates.
  • Join in on ad hoc projects with the Global Finance organization, as necessary.





  • BS/BA degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 5-7 years work experience (3 Years in Public Accounting, CPA a plus) in either auditing or preparing Annual/Quarterly Statement filings (Yellow or Blue book) and related US GAAP financial statements
  • Working Knowledge of SAP or ability and willingness to learn
  • Expertise with Excel and Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize accordingly and to perform under tight reporting deadlines
